The story of a photographer
I began my journey as a photographer in 2015 when I started doing some freelance journalism work. I learned about photojournalism and began taking photos along with writing articles. Storytelling had always appealed to me, but until this experience I had not explored storytelling through photography. I began taking photos of friends and family and expanding my knowledge of the art of photography. Then, I began pursuing photography professionally.
My roots in photojournalism show through my photography style. My style is focused more on candid, prompted photos rather than posed photos. I like to capture the emotion and personality of the people I photograph. My style is focused on preserving moments the way they happen. To accomplish this, I use a lot of prompts to capture authentic emotions and I use a more minimalistic editing style focused on keeping a natural look for my photos.
